A few weeks ago, I got to do my first wedding show. It was so much fun, but a ton of work! The show was sponsored by
Brea Photography and featured vendors catering to brides and groom that prefer a more down to earth, personal feel to their wedding. Perfect for me!
I had a 5x5 space to fill, so I used a few tables and even built and sewed a backdrop to make everything pretty. I made cookies to display and about 500, 1-inch cookies to hand out as samples. I was still decorating them the day of the show, my hand was definitely cramping for a few days!
Isn't it pretty? I'm pretty happy with it, considering it was my first show. I got some awesome ideas from other vendors for next year too. Hopefully, I'll be a little more prepared, I was scrambling pretty hard to get everything done in the few days before the show.
A few of my favorites from my display:
White, black and red collection. Could be done in any colors, but I love the way these pop. |
This could be used as a display for cookie favors or an edible centerpiece! |
Brush embroidery is one of my favorite techniques. So elegant. |
This henna inspired design is very popular. |
Lace is always appropriate for a wedding. |
I love this hand-painted design, so much fun! |
I also loved painting these roses. Very relaxing. |
An ombre design inspired by the amazingly talented SweetAmbs! |
Silver and yellow chevron monogram |
Lip and mustache cookies as photo booth props! |
Here they are in action! FUN! |
Special thanks to Brea and Jessica for giving me the chance to be a part of this
awesome event!
