Amber created so many amazing touches that I would have never even thought of, that really made this party special. But I guess that's why she's a party planner and I only focus on one aspect of a party. Even cookies are overwhelming for me, I can't imagine being organized enough to create an enitre amazing party like this one!
These cookies were so much fun to make! I definitely went overboard with the disco dust, but I don't care, it's one of my favorite things in the whole world, so I can never have too much, right?
The mermaids and font were directly from Amber's designs, I usually don't like to go quite so literal with my designs, but these were so amazing, I couldn't not match them perfectly. I decided to make some of the cookies with just the tails to save a little bit of my sanity since each of the painted mermaids took over an hour to make and I did 6 of them! Did I mention that this was 2 days before I left to spend 2 months in Germany? It was a little hectic, to say the least.
I don't know if you can tell from my less than stellar photography, but the white background of the tail cookies are also covered with lustre dust, since all that disco dust obviously wasn't enough. Also, sprinkles. Just in case I didn't throw enough on there.
So there they are. Make sure you head over to Party On! Designs to check out the rest of this crazy incredible party!
A special thanks to Amber for letting me be a part of this amazing party!
